From your first term

What actually happens in your school

Not a feature list. The sequence from the day you send us your pupil list to the evening parents read results, and who has to do what at each point.

The first term, in five steps

  1. Before term

We set up your school with you

Send us your pupil list as a spreadsheet, whatever shape it is in. We map your columns, create your classes and levels as you name them, and set up the session and its three terms.

Us, with one call to you

  2. Week one

    You invite your staff

Each member of staff gets their own sign-in and a role. A role is a boundary, not a label: it decides exactly what they can open. Nobody sees more than their job needs.

    You, about ten minutes

  3. Through the term

Teachers mark registers and enter scores as they go

A class register takes under a minute on a tablet between periods. Scores go in per subject when a test is marked, not all at once in the last week of term.

    Your teachers, in the room

  4. End of term

    You review, then publish

See every class's results before anything leaves the school. When you publish, the term locks, after that a score cannot be quietly changed, by anyone, which is the point.

    You or your head teacher

  5. That same evening

Parents have results on their phones

No printing, no queue at the office on resumption day. Guardians get results, attendance and the fee balance for each of their children, and can pay the balance from the same screen.

    Nobody. It just happens

Scores go in between periods, not in the last week of term

A teacher opens their own class and types. Continuous assessment and exam split the way your mark scheme already does. It saves as they go, so a dropped connection halfway through a class of 32 does not cost them the lot.

Who sees what

A role is a boundary, not a label. The limits below are enforced in the database on every query, not by hiding a menu item that a determined person could still reach.

  • Proprietor & school office

You, your head teacher, and whoever handles fees.

    • Set up sessions, terms, classes and levels
    • Add pupils and guardians, and move a pupil between classes
    • Invite staff and set what each of them can open
    • Review results for every class, then publish and lock the term
    • Raise fee invoices per term and see what is outstanding by class
    • See enrolment and fee collection across every campus at once

    Cannot

    • See any other school's data, enforced by the database, not by the screen
    • Change a score after the term is locked without reopening it on the record
  • Teacher

    Class teachers and subject teachers.

    • Mark the daily register for their own classes
    • Enter continuous assessment and exam scores for the subjects they teach
    • Write the comments that appear on the report sheet
    • See a pupil's own history, last term, last session

    Cannot

    • Open a class they do not teach
    • See fees, invoices or any payment record
    • Edit a score once the term has been published and locked
    • Add or remove staff, or change anyone's role
  • Parent or guardian

Reachable by phone number alone, no email needed.

    • See results, attendance and fee balance for each of their own children
    • See children at two of your campuses from one sign-in
    • Pay a fee balance by card or bank transfer, and get a receipt
    • Read results on any phone with a browser, or by SMS and WhatsApp

    Cannot

    • See any pupil who is not their own child
    • See staff records, or anything about the school's finances
    • Change a score, a comment or an attendance mark
Getting started

Three things are enough to begin

You do not need your records to be tidy first. That is the part we do.

Your pupil list, in any spreadsheet
Names, classes and guardians. Untidy is fine. We do the mapping. If it is on paper, we will work from a photograph of the register.
Your class structure, as you name it
Creche through SSS 3, British Year 1 to 13, Montessori, or your own scheme. You define the levels; we do not hand you a fixed list.
A phone number for each guardian
That is the only contact detail required. Email is optional everywhere it appears on the platform.

What it does not do

Said plainly, because you have been sold to before and you are waiting for the catch.

  • WAEC, NECO and JAMB sit outside the term structure and are not handled yet, internal mock examinations are.
  • Payroll and school accounting beyond fees are not in the product today. Both are on the roadmap, and neither is here now.
  • Timetabling is not in the product today.
  • Nothing on our roadmap is a commitment to a date. If a capability matters to your decision, ask us where it actually stands before you buy.

Start with one term and see if it holds up

We will set up your classes, import your current pupil list, and walk your staff through it. If it does not fit how your school works, you have lost an afternoon.
